Welcome to Namaste Trini's Kitchen! My name is Sara and I am passionate about all things food. I've always loved experimenting with different flavors and ingredients in the kitchen. Cooking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I'm excited to share my culinary journey with you through this blog. I believe that food brings people together and is a great way to experience different cultures and traditions. I was raised in the heart of North Carolina, but my parents were from Trinidad, West Indies. Despite living so far from my cultural heritage, I was always fascinated by the food my parents cooked. When it came to cooking my biggest inspiration would be my mom. She taught me everything she knew, from the art of selecting the perfect ingredients to the science of cooking. Through my food blog, I aim to connect with people who share a love for food, cooking, and culture. Every recipe has a story to tell, and I hope that you'll join me on this journey. From traditional Trinidadian dishes to my own creations inspired by my multicultural background, I have something for everyone. Visit the blog to explore my stories and food that I capture in the spotlight. LET'S MAKE A COOK!

Welcome to Namaste Trini's Kitchen! I love to cook just about anything that comes to mind. My parents are from Trinidad, West Indies, and didn't forget their TRINI ROOTS, especially the food. I grew up in North Carolina, USA and I was raised knowing about Caribbean, American, and other dishes. I always involved myself in the kitchen which led me to want to know more about cooking. My mom has taught me everything there is to know in perfecting every single recipe.
On the weekends I helped my mom prepare food for the family. During the week while she worked I took over the kitchen and cooked at home. Gradually my cooking skills started improving with every chance that I had. I even gained the courage to experiment alongside traditional dishes and be innovative. After a while, I thought to myself "Why don't I open a food blog and share my recipes with everyone". Creating a food blog was a great idea to connect with people who share the love of food, cooking, and culture. Just about every recipe that is created has a story to tell.
I hope you guys try my recipes to cook for your family and let me know what you think. When you try my recipes you can also tag me using #namastetriniskitchen on Instagram. I'm on Youtube as well so you can have a full video demonstration of each of my recipes. You may LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE to my channel. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.
